Oisin O’Driscoll aged 7 died tragically in a suspected ‘murder suicide’ last week alongside his mother Sinéad Higgins.
This week he will be laid to rest in Co Wicklow. Heartbroken family and friends will gather in his father’s hometown of Bray to remember the young boy.
Sinéad Higgins, from Co Mayo, and her son Oisin were tragically found in their home in Ruislip , West London last Wednesday morning.
Oisin’s funeral notice reads:
“Tragically taken at the tender age of 7 years. Sadly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of experiencing his infectious smile and his warm heart, especially his loving dad Shane, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins, extended family and friends.”
His Requiem Mass will be held at 10am on Friday at the Holy Redeemer Church in Bray, Co Wicklow.
Oisin’s devestated father Shane O’Driscoll expressed his grief via Facebook saying:
“Thank you for all your support and messages. Words cannot express how we are feeling.
“Today it became real when I had the first opportunity to hold Oisin and see his little face.
“My best buddy has been taken from this world and taken from all his little friends.
“He has always been my angel.
“Sleep well my little man. Love Dada.”
