The current spell of fine and settled weather is set to continue for another week at least, with the possibility of temperatures reaching 20C in places.

Monday will be slightly cooler than the last couple of days, with average daytime temperatures of 12-15C.

Tuesday and Wednesday are expected to be the mildest of the week, 17-18C on average, and going up to 20C in places. Best weather expected in the midlands and west of the country.

Thursday will still be quite mild, but things will take a turn for the worse on Friday, and into next weekend as rain will spread from the southwest overnight. Daytime temperatures over Friday to Sunday will peak at around 12C.
