Residents in Fingal County Council will have their Local Property Tax bills cut 15% next year.
This news comes after 31 councillors in Fingal voted in favour of the 15% cut at a special council meeting on the issue last night.
Fingal is the fourth council who decided to vote in favour of the proposal, as three other councils in the capital voted to lower the tax by 15%. Local authorities have until the end of this month to advise Revenue of the adjustment they intend to apply, if any.
