Gardai are now investigating the possibility that the shooting incident in which a young mother was killed might have been ‘accidental’.
The incident happened in the Finglas area of Dublin on Saturday evening.
It is understood that a pistol was discharged inside the house.
The victim, a mother of five, was rushed to the Mater Hospital, where she was pronounced dead a short time later.
