Finland and Sweden might join NATO soon, in a move that would further weaken Russia’s position in the east.
Russia’s army has proven to be utterly useless in the field, enraging Russian President Vladimir Putin, who’s now keenly aware his nation would be completely overrun by any half-decent fighting force. He knows he’s weak and vulnerable against NATO troops.
Talks are now ongoing to admit Finland and Sweden into NATO, to ensure that Russia is kept in check on all fronts.
