Finland has officially become a member of NATO, meaning that a military ring of steel is now established around Russia.
NATO expansion was always one of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s greatest fears, and something he doggedly wanted to avoid by invading Ukraine. This has now spectacularly exploded in his puffy face however, and turned him into an international laughing stock over his colossal failure. Not only is his country finished from an economic point of view, because of the sanctions he prompted. Russia’s ‘army’ (more like a rabble of conscripted personnel) is completely depleted, and can be easily defeated by NATO anytime.
The bad news for the ailing Russian President doesn’t end there, either, as Sweden will also join the military alliance in the near future, following decades of neutrality shattered by Russian aggression.
