A large garda presence was deployed to the Red Cow on Thursday the 2nd of January shortly before 1am. Videos (below) show a considerable number of gardai being forced to deal with a heavy disturbance at a ticketed event at the venue.
Gardai were forced to intervene after a number of altercations broke out in the venue and resulted in a huge group of people ending up in the carpark as staff were left with no option other than remove the patrons from the venue.
Gardai arrested five people for public order offences, one of whom is said to be a juvenile.
It’s understood that one male was charged and a female juvenile is due to face a youth referral. Three other people were arrested and are facing further investigations.
