Flood relief projects take a hit as €3m is cut from funding following National Children’s Hospital overrun




The Minister for State Kevin ‘Boxer’Moran has confirmed that €3m will be cut from relief scheme in order to cover costs related to the National Children’s Hospital overrun.

Speaking before an Oireachtas Committee, Minster Moran confirmed that €3m will be cut from his €9m budget.

Although Mr Moran promised to deliver on flood relief projects, he did admit that some projects will be delayed due to the cuts.

But adeded that any delays to projects would be delayed for only a few weeks.
