Local media in Florida confirms that at least one person has died, and up to 50 injured, after a gunman opened fire inside a high school facility.

The shooting took place at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, northwest of Fort Lauderdale, just before 3pm (local time) on Wednesday.
A suspect is reportedly in custody.
