Up to now, Ryanair has maintained a strict no-pets policy on their flights.
However, it is understood that such measure may be relaxed in the near future, and that small breeds may be allowed on the cabin for short-haul European flights.
The airline’s chief commercial officer, David O’Brien, has said: “We are open to lots of suggestions, it’s one we’re looking at.
“It could be quite difficult. What makes one person happy would make another unhappy.
“But we’d be interested to hear what people think.”
