In the past few hours amazing footage has been released online showing the moment OCI chairman Pat Hickey being arrested.
The video which shows Mr Hickey opening his hotel room door to Brazilian police officers was released on ESPN Brazil.
Mr Hickey was reportedly arrested on suspicion of involvement in the irregular selling of tickets on the black market in Rio.
Local media reports also say Mr Hickey was arrested in a hotel in the Barra da Tijuca neighbourhood.
