Footballer Harry Maguire has been dropped from the England squad following his conviction in Greece.
The 27-year-old was found guilty of aggravated assault, resisting arrest, and bribery. He was sentenced to 21 months and 10 days in jail, but had the sentence fully suspended because it was the first offense, and the charges were filed as misdemeanors.
It is understood that Maguire became involved in a fracas at a bar on the island of Syros after claiming that someone had injected his sister with something while at the bar.
