Actress Lisa Sheridan has been found dead in her New Orleans home, according to reports in the US.
Sheridan, 44, who is best known for her roles in CSI Miami and Perception was apparently found dead on Monday morning.
According to People.com her agent told them that they are currently awaiting the results of a post-mortem examination in order to determine the cause of her death.
In a statement her agent said: “We all loved Lisa very much and are devastated by the loss we all feel.”
“She passed away Monday morning, at home, in her apartment in New Orleans. We are waiting for a coroners report on the cause of death.”
He added: “The family has unequivocally confirmed that this is not a suicide. Any suggestion to the contrary is absolutely, 100 per cent unfounded.”
