It has been announced that the former President of the FIA Max Mosley has died at the age of 81.
The news of Mosley’s death was confirmed by former Formula 1 chief Bernie Ecclestone who said: “Max was like family to me.”
“We were like brothers. I am pleased in a way because he suffered for too long.”
Mosley who served as president for three terms left the sport in 2009 after being in the role since 1993.
