British SAS troops have rescued Washington post staff from Kabul during an operation to get UK citizens out of the country.
U.S forces have been ordered to remain put inside Kabul’s main airport by the Biden administration in fear of Islamic State attacks while special forces operators from other countries, including now Ireland, rush to evacuate Western citizens.
Colonel Richard Kemp, CBE, formerly in charge of all British military operations in the country, said in an interview on Sunday with Fox News host Mark Levin.
“He’s the commander-in-chief of the U.S. Armed Forces who’s just essentially surrendered to the Taliban,” he contended. “He shouldn’t be impeached. He should be court-martialled for betraying the United States of America and the United States Armed Forces.”
Following Biden’s catastrophic Afghanistan pull-out many have called for his impeachment but this is the first time a major military figure has called for his court martial for treason, a charge with carries a potential death sentence.
