Foster father Stephen Murray who raped his foster daughter more than 1,000 times has been sentenced to 11 years in jail.
According to RTE, Kelly Kemmy, 24, who chose to decline anonymity to name Stephen Murray, 56, her abusive foster father, said she was raped a thousand times between the ages of 11 and 18.
The father-of-one told the Central Criminal Court that she now stands before Stephen Murray as a survivor and is determined not to let abuse define her.
The thug’s name is 56-yr-old Stephen Murray, of Humphreystown, Valleymount, Co. Wicklow. The national broadcaster said that he pleaded guilty to 14 counts of rape, two counts of oral rape and one count of sexual assault between February 2009 and December 2015. He has no record judicial.
Murray has been thrown in jail for 11 years after the court heard his wife left him when he confessed to her what he had done.
