The Covid-19 pandemic in France is beginning to spiral out of control once again with almost 10,000 cases reported on Thursday.
According to reports in France there was a total of 9,843 cases reported on Thursday.
The figure which is one of the highest reported since the pandemic began in March has now led to growing concerns amongst the French Government.
It is understood that the French President Emmanuel Macron will hold a summit meeting to discuss a number of local lockdowns.
