A leaked report by the Pentagon, regarding nuclear weapons threat to the U.S has confirmed the existence of Russian nuclear doomsday torpedo.
The “Kanyon” nuclear torpedo, which is the size of a ballistic missile, is an autonomous underwater vehicle and can travel at a depth of 3,200 feet and has a range of 6,200 miles.
The yield of the bomb is equivalent to 100 million tons of TNT, thousands of times more powerful than the Hiroshima bomb which was equivalent to 16 thousand tons of TNT.
The bomb itself is designed as a weapon of last resort that would render entire nations uninhabitable.
It is thought it was designed with the purpose of rendering the entire East and West coast of the U.S utterly destroyed as well uninhabitable and unusable due to radioactive fallout because of the cobalt 60 utilized in the weapon.
