It has been announced that the funeral of Ashling Murphy will take place this morning.
According to the Irish Sun, the 23-year-old has been reposing at her family home since Sunday with prayers and the Rosary each night. It is then planned for the funeral mass to take place in St. Brigid’s Church, Mountbolus in County Offaly. She will then be buried at Lowertown Cemetery.
There has been a huge outpouring of grief internationally since Ashling’s tragic death and to take account of the number of people who want to express their condolences, the funeral will be live-streamed for people who are unable to be in the church.
