Gardai in Co Tipperary have arrested two men in connection with an alleged assault assault.
It is understood that the arrest comes after man aged in his 20s was injured following the incident in Clonmel on Sunday night.
Gardai investigating the incident say the injured man was taken to Tipperary University Hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Gardai say two men aged on their 30s were arrested in connection with the incident and taken to Clonmel Garda Station.
