Over 100 people gathered to pay their respects to Alannah, the baby found dead at a Greenstar facility in Bray just over a week ago.
The ceremony, carried out by Reverend Alan Breen and Monsignor Enda Lloyd, was held at Redford Cemetery in Greystones, with members of the gardai and staff at the recycling centre were in attendance. Four Greenstar workers helped lower the small coffin into its final resting place.
Despite a nationwide appeal, the baby’s mother has not come forward.
