Further disruption possible at Ryanair as cabin crew staff consider holding industrial action following dispute over pay and conditions

There could yet be more disruption at one of the country’s airliners as cabin crew staff look set to join piloting staff in industrial action.

It is believed the union representing cabin crew staff are considering the possibility of industrial action as they seek better pay and working conditions.

Although no formal decision has been made by cabin crew staff, it is understood they are seriously considering undertaking strike action as they feel their demands are not being met.

However Ryanair have warned that any possible strike action would be pointless as cabin crew staff already earn more than double the minimum living wage and they also recieve a bank holiday weekend every weekend given the company’s rostering system.

The prospect of industrial action amongst cabin crew staff comes at a bad time for the airliner as the union representing pilots in Ireland have already confirmed they will hold a 24 hour stoppage on the 12th of July.
