Heavy rains over the weekend caused devastating flooding across some areas of Cork city, leaving roads in a hazardous condition, or altogether impassable.
High tide is expected to arrive in Cork at around this time this morning, so there are concerns that some areas may become flooded again.
Many businesses across the city have been affected by the rising waters, and many business owners are angry that they have to put up with it again, and bear the costs of cleaning up.
Further rain is forecast for Cork and elsewhere today and tonight. The weather is expected to remain very unsettled until the middle of the week at least.
