There was further tragedy on Irish roads this past weekend as a pedestrian was sadly killed in Co Wicklow.
Gardaà say an investigation is now underway after was fatally injured after being struck by a car on the R755 at Larragh, Co Wicklow, on Sunday morning.
It is believed that the man died at the scene after he was struck by a car.
Gardaà say the driver of the vehicle a woman aged in her 20s was uninjured in the incident.
