Gardai have identified the body of a man recovered from a bog in Oristown in Co Meath over the weekend, he has been named as that of 45-year-old Gerard Daly.
Mr Daly from Bailieboro Co Cavan had been missing and was last seen leaving his home three years ago. Gardai also discovered a burnt-out car at the scene which is believed to have been stolen in Kells over a 11 years ago. Gardai have said an investigation is ongoing.
