A Garda in his 30s was questioned after he was found in possession of drugs at Dublin Airport on Thursday afternoon.
The Dublin-based woman was found in “possession of a small quantity of controlled drugs”, reports RTE.
She was interrogated at Ballymun Garda Station and later released without charge, reports RTE.
The drugs were sent for forensic examination.
In a statement, gardaí added: “The female concerned is a serving member of An Garda Síochána based in the Dublin region. No further information is available at this time. Enquires are ongoing,” reports RTE.
