Gardaí in Dublin have begun an investigation after a cash in-transit van was robbed on Friday afternoon.
The investigation comes after a member of security staff was held up by a man armed with a hand gun during a pick up at business on the Slaney Road in Glasnevin, Dublin, at approximately 2:20pm.
It is believed the assailant fleed the scene in a white Ford Transit van and it was later found burnt out on the Lagan Road.
