Gardaí in Co Louth have launched an investigation after a man aged in his 30s was stabbed in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The investigation comes after the man who was treated for non-life threatening injuries at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda was stabbed in Fatima Drive, Bellewsbridge Road, Dundalk at approximately 3am this morning.
Gardaí investigating the incident say forensic examination has taken place at the scene, and as of yet no arrests have been made.
