Gardaí in Co Galway have begun an investigation after a man died following an incident at a house over the weekend.
It is understood the investigation comes after the man aged in his 60s died University Hospital Galway following the incident on Sunday morning.
Gardaí say they were called to investigate an incident at a house in Baile Na hAbhann, Conamara, at approximatley 9am on Sunday morning.
They say a man aged in his 70s has been arrested in connection with the incident and an investigation is currently ongoing.
