Gardaí in Dublin have begun an investigation following a shooting incident this morning.
The investigation comes after a man aged in his 20s was shot on the North Strand Road at approximately 6:45am.
Gardaí say the man was taken to the Mater Hospital, but it is believed that his injuries are not life-threatening.
They added that no arrests have yet been made and an investigation is currently ongoing.
