Gardaí in Co Donegal have launched an investigation after two masked men locked a woman in a shed at her home.
The horrifying ordeal occurred at approximately 5pm on Wednesday evening, in Galdonagh, Manorcunningham.
It is understood the woman was locked inside the shed by the two men proceeded to ransack her home before fleeing the scene.
Gardaí say the woman was uninjured in the incident, but she was treated for shock after being left badly shaken following the incident.
It is no known if the men took anything from the property during the invasion.
Gardaí added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
