Gardaí in Co Louth have begun an investigation after a young woman was hospitalised with facial injuries after a fight in Dundalk.
According to The Irish Mirrornewspaper, the young woman aged in her 20s was taken to hospital following an altercation at licensed premises in the town.
It is understood the attack occurred at approximately 10:50am on Sunday morning at a premises on Bridge Street in the town.
Gardaí say no arrests have been made and investigations are currently ongoing.
