Gardai in Dublin have begun an investigation after a young woman was allegedly raped at a hotel in the city centre in the early hours of this morning.
It is understood the investigation comes after the victim reported the alleged attack to Gardai this morning.
It is alleged the young woman was raped by a man after she went to a hotel after being out socialising with her friends.
Gardai at Pearse Street Garda Station have said an investigation is currently ongoing and no arrests have yet been made.
