A garda investigation is underway after evil sinister thugs smashed an elderly woman with a hammer while they were robbing her house in Dublin.
According to Dublin Live, the elderly woman was hit on the head with a hammer during a robbery at her home in Powerstown Road, Mulhuddart, Dublin 15 at approximately 8.30pm on Friday evening.
It’a understood a group of masked men broke into the house and stole a sum of cash before fleeing the scene.
Gardaí say an investigation is currently ongoing and have appealed for anyone with information to contact them on the Confidential Line on 1800-66-61-11.
