It has been reported in the Meath Chronicle that an internal Garda investigation is under way into an alleged incident that seen female officers inappropriately let a group of male strippers perform for them to get out of a fine.
The rather unusual incident is thought to have occurred in the Garda station in the county before Christmas. It is believed the group of men were returning from a performance before Christmas when they were stopped for having no tax disc.
The female officers however did not issue a fine however, but offered the men to striptease their way out of the fine.
