Gardaí in Waterford City have launched an investigation following a petrol bomb attack at house.
It is understood that one man was injured in the incident which occurred in Ardmore Park area of the city.
Gardai say the house was attacked at approximately 3am this morning when an explosive device believed to be a petrol bomb was thrown the downstairs window.
