Gardai have launched an investigation after human remains were found on Lambay Island off the coast of Dublin.
According to RTE News, the investigation comes after the remains were found by people working on the island on Thursday evening.
It is understood that the remains have been transferred to Dublin City Mortuary where a post-mortem examination will take place.
