
A Garda investigation is underway after the home and cars belonging to Limerick councillor Fergus Kilcoyne, were badly damaged.
It is understood that windows at Mr Kilcoyne’s home were smashed, whilst the windows on two of his cars were also smashed in the incident which occurred in the early hours of Monday morning.
It is believed that Mr Kilcoyne and his family were awoken by loud noises and saw a group of people fleeing the scene.
Gardaí say they been made of the incident and an investigation is currently ongoing.
