Gardaí have arrested and charged a man following a car speed chase in Co Meath on Wednesday.
It is understood the man aged in his 20s was charged after he failed to stop for Garda officers in Navan, on Wednesday afternoon.
Gardaí say the man fled the scene and was pursued by Gardai.
However it is believed that the man collided with an unmarked Garda car a number of times before being arrested.
Gardaí say no one was injured in the incident, but the man has since been charged and will appear before court next month.
