Gardaí in Co Cork have begun an investigation after a mass brawl broke out in Douglas on Saturday.
It is understood the investigation comes after the brawl which involved up to 70 youths broke out at Mount Oval Village housing estate in Rochestown, at approximately 8pm.
Gardaí say they were made aware of the incident following a number of reports, however it is believed that the teenagers fled the area before Gardai arrived at the scene.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing and are appealing for anyone who may have any information to contact them at Togher Garda Station in on 021-4947120.
