Gardai in Galway have begun an investigation after a man fell from a building in the city.
According to The Irish Mirror newspaper, the young man was seriously injured after falling a number of storeys from a house in Eyre Square.
It is understood that the incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The Irish Mirror reports that the young man has been taken to University Hospital Galway where he remains in serious condition.
