Gardaí in Dublin have launched an investigation after a man was shot in the Darndale area on Thursday night.
It is understood the investigation comes after a man was shot in the Marigold Park area.
Gardaí say the man who left the scene of the incident attended the Beaumont Hospital where he is being treated for non life threatening injuries.
