Gardaí in Co Cavan have begun an investigation following an alleged child abduction attempt this week.
According to The Northern Sound, the investigation comes after a child was the subject of a suspicious approach outside Saint Clare’s National School, on Wednesday.
It is understood that the school have issued a letter to parents of all children calling on them to make sure that their child is collected safely from the school grounds.
Meanwhile Gardaí have confirmed that they have been made aware of the incident and an investigation is currently ongoing.
