A member of the An Garda Síochána has been suspended duties after he was questioned in relation to a drug offence.
According to RTÉ News, the Garda aged in his 30s was arrested after a small amount of cocaine was seized.
It is understood the Garda officer was questioned and released without without charge on Monday.
Gardaí say a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
