A garda who had sex with a so-called amateur porn star on top of a garda patrol car is getting fired from the force.
It’s understood that the garda initially was docked a couple of weeks pay and was suspended when the matter came to light in 2017 but he had returned to work shortly afterwards.
A video of the sex scene was uploaded to a porn site where the garda was quickly identified by garda officials.
It’s understood that the Commissioner has informed the garda in question that he will be fired.
