Gardai are appealing for information in a manhunt to find escaped Shelton Abbey prisoner Frederick Lee.
Mr Lee (51) escaped from the open prison in Wicklow this morning between 6.30am and 7.30am.
The Arklow-based facility is an open, low security prison for men who have been deemed to require lower levels of security.
Mr Lee is described as being 5’9” in height with brown hair and brown eyes.
Gardai are appealing to anyone with information to come forward and assist them in finding the escaped prisoner.
