Gardai appeal for information after 14 dogs are stolen

Gardai in Co Limerick have issued an appeal to the public for information after 14 dogs were stolen on Tuesday afternoon.

It is understood the investigation comes after the dogs from kennels at the back of a house in Tullig in Dromcollogher.

Gardai say the owners of the dogs are deeply upset following the robbery and have appealed for the dogs safe return.

Amongst the dogs stolen include the following breeds Bichon Frise, Cavalier King Charles, Jack Russell and Cavachon.

Gardai say a black car was seen leaving the scene at approximately 12pm.

They also say that some of the dogs were due to be rehomed in the coming days.
