Gardai appeal for information after a teenager is hospitalised following hit and run incident




Gardaí in Dublin have issued an appeal to the public for their assistance after a teenager was hospitalised following a hit and run incident on Tuesday evening.

It is understood the teenager was taken to Temple Street Children’s Hospital after he was struck by a car believed to be a 05 registered blue Ford Focus, on the R106 Swords Road outside the entrance to Castle Heath.

Gardaí say the car was seen heading towards following the incident which occurred at approximately 6:55pm.

They added that the boy was taken to hospital but his injuries are not life-threatening.
