Gardaí in Cork have issued an appeal to the public for information following a hit and run incident in the city over the weekend.
The appeal comes after a sustained life changing injuries following the incident which occurred on the Magazine Road at approximately 3:15am on Saturday October 26th.
Gardaí say the 23-year-old was struck by a car which was travelling on the Bandon Road onto Magazine Road.
They say the car a black Volkswagen Polo failed to remain at the scene.
