Gardai in Co Tipperary have issued an appeal for information after two women were injured following a hit and run incident on Monday evening.
It is understood the appeal comes after two women aged in their 60s and 70s were injured after being struck by a white van in the townland of Tinvane near Carrick-On-Suir.
Gardai say the driver of the vehicle fled the scene in the direction of the Piltown Road.
They also say the two women were taken to Waterford Hospital for treatment.
